Why consign with Ditto…

Our staff will display your items creatively, which may award a higher selling price. We offer consignor’s the ability to track their items via the internet through our web site, www.dittoconsignments.com.

Photo Required…
We prefer larger items be pre-approved before you bring them in. You may email us a photo or bring in a photo. We have the right to refuse anything we feel does not meet our standards.

Acceptable Items…
We accept home furnishings and accents that represent a timeless style. All items must be in good condition, clean and smoke-free. We will do minor touch-ups at no charge. There will be a charge for any items that are not clean or put together, per management. We will accept no more than 10 items at a time. We accept consignment items on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. Saturdays by appointment only.

Unacceptable Items…
Cutsie country, large appliances or exercise equipment. See our consignment agreement.

Condition…
We will accept only items that rate between 6-10 on a scale of 1-10. Furniture must be without structural damage, hardware must be present, no tears or stains in fabrics.

Pricing…
Will be based on condition, style, and what the item might sell for it if were new. We will also take into consideration how desirable the item might be. No items will be accepted with a selling price of less than $10, except holiday items.

Pick Up & Delivery…
Will be offered for large items. There will be a small fee based upon location. Prior arrangements must be made in advance. Pickups and deliveries are scheduled for Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays each week.

Consignment Terms… 50/50 Split
There will be a $10 yearly "Internet Access Fee" to allow you to check your items status online. This will be deducted from your commission once a year. 90 days consignment period. The first 30 days will be regular price. At 31 days, the selling price will drop by 10%. At 61 days the price will drop an additional 10%. At the end of the 90 days you must contact us within 30 days to retrieve your items or agree to a further mark-down. If we do not hear from you within the 30 days, you will forfeit your merchandise. You will not be called. Commission checks will be issued on the 10th of each month, for items sold in the month before. If any of your items are sold by layaway, your commission checks will not be paid until the layaway is paid in full. No checks will be issued for less than $15.00. Your amount will carry over to the next month. Checks cannot be mailed unless you provide a self addressed, stamped envelope. Lost checks will be replaced for a $25.00 fee. If checks are not picked up after 6 months, they will be voided. Consignor agrees to participate in any special sales event, These events allow customers to purchase at a fair discount price, usually an extra 10% off.

You may keep track of your account by visiting our web site.  You will not be notified when your 120 days have expired, it will be your responsibility to keep track.
